The Patola Tote Bag is lovingly crafted from vibrant Punjabi durries (flat-woven rugs) made of hand-spun cotton. The durrie is hand made by rural women in Punjab in between their household chores. It can take a fortnight to dye and finish weaving one durrie. Traditionally used as floor coverings and on coarse woven cots, Murgabi reimagines this heritage weave into stylish and quirky tote bags.
